audio sync

Hey iw as wondering if anyone could help me with this:

My over the HD is audio is not in sync with the picture.

I'm using a Samsung SIR-TS160 as my tunner which feeds a panasonic TH42PWD5UY.

The audio (using the optical digital out) goes to my Sony DTR925 receiver.

The Samsung box does HD and Directv. Only the over the air HD is out of sync

Is it on all HD channels or only a few every now and then?

The audio synch issue is a well known "issue". Type "audio + synch" into the site's search engine - you'll find a few threads on the subject. Here's one example.

I've since read a lot of the other posts on this subject.

For me this is a constant problem, not something that changes from station to station, or if I cycle the power on my stb.
