If anyone is looking to get rid of either of these HD Direct TV receivers, let me know. I am looking to upgrade my current receiver. The models I am looking for are:
Sony SATHD-100
Hughes HIRD-E86
Please email me or reply if you have one for sale. I never have enough time it seems to scour Ebay on a regular basis, I always seem to miss the end of the auctions.

While strolling through my local Best Buy A/V department the other day, I saw one of these "open box" for $419.99
It originally had been marked down to $449.99 but the salesman told me after 30 days they reduce open box items further and everything was intact in the box and included the full warranty.
I'm in the Baltimore, MD area and this was the White Marsh location.
You may be able to find similar deals wherever you are.

I have a unit mfg 2/01/01. Am thinking of upgrading to HD 300. Remote has missing battery cover and is in "WELL USED" condition. Don't get me wrong, it works, it just isn't like new.
Only known issue is remote. What would you offer?
