Hughes HIRD E86 VCR Control Cable

I hope this is the right place to post this.

I bought an open box Hughes HIRD E86 DirecTV receiver from Best Buy. It did not come with a remote which I have been able to purchase elsewhere. The other thing that is missing is the VCR control cable. I have done various searches online but not have found a specefic place that sells it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
