Hi,
I have a PT52LCX66 with a SA-HT940 surround sound system & a PS3. Currently I have both the DVD Surround and the PS3 connected to the TV with HDMI cables. If I watch a DVD (in the SA-HT940), I get full surround sound, however when I watch a Blu-ray in the PS3, I only get 2 channel audio. Is there something wrong in my setup or maybe in my settings that the 5.1 sound isn't being passed through HDMI from the PS3 to the surround system via the TV?
There is no optical audio input on this sound system (much to my dismay) and the only audio inputs are 2 channel (white/red) and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
