What's the deal? I waited until last night to watch back to back episodes of Playmakers, and at the beggining of the broadcast it touts the availabilty of the show in HD. Well, let me tell you...on DTV channel 73 (ESPNHD) that was 2 hours of regular picture!!! What the heck?

Yeah I noticed this too. That really sucks, I pay $11 per month for one freakin channel with 1 program in HD a week. And they cant even get that right.
This is why so many people will not jump on the bandwagon as early.
ESPN is showing "Playmaker" in HD only on the the debut night which is Tuesday. All three showings were in HD on 9/2.
Kind of sucks

Exactly, dudes!!! I agree 100%. Can't they just rebroadcast what was already in HD. Hell, I would watch reruns of football or baseball games if they were in HD, just for satisfaction of watching something in HD. Dammit!!...Good God...Hot Tub...I can't stand myself....Aaayyy....Sorry about that ....I was having a flash back. But yeah, you're right!:p
