Most TVs that are in the same price range have roughly equivalent picture quality. You may wish to consider other factors like features, reliability, etc.

Check out the FAQ section, especially the post "If only I'd have known" for features to be aware of.

You may also wish to put Hitachi on your list of possibles - it's typically a bit more but also typically has some features the others don't.
