elite rebates still on?

Today I had to opportunity to compare the new Panasonic 50" next to a new Samsung 56" dlp. I must say the differences were not readily apparant from my view of about eight feet away. The Elite was parked across the store and not on high-def, but I will be back! Does anyone know if the rebates are still on, and for how long?

rebates still in effect for all sets purchased by 9/30. rebate must be sent in before 10/31. i've had my 730hd for about 3 weeks now and love it. great stretch modes and picture. aloha keith

I just purchased a Pro HD-630 from Ultimate Electronics. They gave me 10% off their sale price of $4499 plus I get the $800 rebate from Pioneer. So final price will be $3200. I just set it up last nite with a Sony Sat receiver and the picture is great without any tweaking. I looked at the DLP models from Samsung but they would not come down on price from the $4050 for the 56 inch model plus they were on backorder. I hope I made the right choice even though I set out to buy a DLP the Pioneer at that price seemde like a good deal.
