Hi guys

Well, I'm getting ready to move and the only thing I'm really concerned about is my tv. I recently made a sizable investment in a Sony 36" direct view hd and I'm gonna be moving it about 4 hours away in the back of my pickup.

Could anyone who's made a move of this kind give me any pointers?

Will it hurt to lay the set down glass first? I figure with propper padding this would be the safest way (seeing that it's so front heavy). If not, how would one safely pack it to prevent internal damage?

I know I must sound paranoid but I'm in no real hurry to get rid of the best tv I've ever had :).

nooo definitely dont lay it on the glass..... just heavily pad it from all sides and just sit it down like you would have it in your living room.... id just used a bunch of pillows and make sure its strapped down so it doesnt move...........

Just put a blanket over it and put the glass screen w/ blanket and maybe some additional padding against the front part of the bed. Strap it in real good and your set ;)
