Firstly I don't think you should limit yourself to exactly 65"?
Secondly are you talking about CRT-based RPTVs - then you should probably consider Toshiba, Mitsubishi & Hitachi.
If you're talking DLPs or LCDs (which you should probably consider, considering the money you're spending) then you may wish to consider Samsung or Sony, for those options.

One from all brands. It is next to impossible to come to a consensus because nearly evreyone is partial to the brand they bought. If I could buy any in particular. it would be the Pioneer Elite series.

If I had to pick another 65" RPTV it would most likely be the Toshiba LCOS. I haven't seen one but the 57" looked pretty good. That's if we are not limiting ourselves to CRT RPTV.

If money is no object then go with a DLP or LCoS... no convergance no burn in..............
