I've been eyeing that HCL4715W set but was leary from what I've heard about Samsung. I keep hearing that "it's great for the price", but isn't in the league of Mitsu or Sony. So, what exactly makes it a great set? I've got Directv service and plan on using it just to watch regular tv and sports. I don't intend to buy the HDTV box for now. Also, does it appear 'stretched' out to fit the widescreen? Have you tried watching football on it? Does it look blurry at all? Let me know. Thanks.
