Zebra Stripes???

Just the past couple of days some Zebra stripes appeared into my screen. they're like a transparent zebra stripe which is more visable with the Xbox or PS2 rather than the HDTV cable box. can anyone tell me what is the cause of this. thanks!

i was going to see about my cables....hmmmm?? I'm using component for Xbox & PS2 (the Sony & Microsoft cables). should i try using Monster??

Are the stripes moving like scanlines? And no changing to Monster will not help. But you could check and see if the cables from the mentioned offenders are wrapped around the power line creating some type of interference. I personally have no experience with lines appearing when I use my XBOX.

Try to keep your video cable(s) as isolated as possible from power cables (or others for that matter).

If that doesn't work...
Better cables may be in order. Try some AR cables or even Radio Shack A/V cables (~$25).

I will check my cables more closely and check to see if they're near a power cable... It's very possible due to my changing the position of my TV?!? if not, then i will try better cables. thanks fellas for your time and comments!:cool:

Try unhooking everything and reconnecting one item at a time. See if you can determine the source. Could very well be a bad ground on a cable.
