I've got a Mitsu tv with integfrated tuner and I'm looking to find a reasonably priced OTA signal stregth meter that I can use at the house. I'm sure Fluke or HP make one that is out of the budget- far, far out of the budget I'm just looking for a simple, easy to use meter to help tweak my antenna placement at the house, and determine if I'm better off with a Yagi (as I have now) or an antenna that is slightly less directional as I have(or will have) DTV signals ina 270 degree arc around my house, none more than 30 miles away, some closer than 10. I'm afraid to go Omni out in my patch of suburbia East of Providence, RI.

I don't know about local multipath issues, but my tuner with the current antenna placement is picking up carrier for a number of signals, but I only seem to recieve some of them them intermittantly(WBZ, and WSBK are the best signals here- I've never seen a drop since Aug of 2002). Some issues here might be that some stations are not at full power yet, or were at full power and have since scaled back.
