I thought that I'd pass this excerpt along from the moderator (Ken H) on the AVS forum in regard to one of our members:

I thought Gear, RobMX and Bob Miller are all the same people? I know Rob and Bob are.
What's the difference. What provoked this thread? There's no need to slag a respected member of this forum. ahem.

It was by no means meant as a 'slag'. (just a little ribbing ;) )
My intent was to enlighten interested parties that participate on this forum that Gear, Robmx, Bob Miller has been one of the only three 'flagged' from that forum (based on the post from that particular moderator).
This forum has moderators that respect the constitutional rights of freedom of speech (see my flag waving?)! IMO... Robmx has not broken any of this forum's rules.
Even though Bob does rattle the cage and get many feathers ruffled, he is technically competent. Whether we agree or disagree, he has always been respectful and IMO not lashed out at anyone here. And... you have to admit, he does catch some flak from all of us!

One thing, I don't think I was ever disrespectful or did I lash out on AVSFORUM though there was plenty of that directed at me.
And AVSFORUM is not doing the HDTV cause any favors by limiting debate to their preconceived notions.
