I'm moving in a month to an older house across town. The access to the basement is too narrow for my 55" Mits to be shoehorned in. I will make the ultimate personal sacrifice and sell it... so that I can buy a 65" that splits into two pieces. Not a bad deal all around, though.

Wife before I bought the 55: " You are going to spend how much on a TV?!?"
Wife after we watched LOTR last year: "Maybe you could have gotten a bigger one."
Wife, sometime later: "You spent how much on that darn XBOX without checking with me?!?"
Wife, last week: "When does Halo 2 come out? I'm bored with Halo."

Huzzah and kudos to Mitsubishi for stepping firmly into the modern era by offering three 1080i inputs and DVI on its sets.

I spoke to the sales guy at the Big Screen Store about selling my old one; he suggested e-bay. It isn't very appealing to me. Does anyone have a better idea?

You could try the pawn shop on this site.

I live in the Baltimore Metro area as well. Trust me on this one. Put an ad in the Pennysaver for a couple of their coverage areas. I had around twenty calls in response to my ad before I stopped the bleeding and changed the message on my answering machine telling people it was already sold. Over a dozen calls in the first two days. The first person to come by and take a look at it on day three bought it and came back the same day with his truck to pick it up. I'm still dumbfounded at the response I got. Was the easiest thing I've ever done. It does not cost much to place an ad with the Pennysaver either. Best money I ever spent!

Thanks for the response. My two best leads have fallen through, and I'm running out of time. I'll get on it right away!

You could try Washington Post and Baltimore Sun. Also try Columbia Newspaper for Howard county.
I am pretty sure you will get good response.

I suppose you can always bring it with you and sell it from the new "old" house. That way you don't have to rush and get a bad deal just because you're running out of time.
