Hi All,
I have a RCA with the built in directv-hd receiver, I have been real happy with it. I have been trying to tweak my Local reception. I get almost everything I should but PBS which should come in according to antennaweb.org.

My question is, will a good omnidirectional (http://www.starkelectronic.com/allomni.htm) antenna be an improvement over the terk tv42 antenna I am currently using?

I have read all the bad reviews of the terk and wonder if I could do better. I don't want to go to a directional system because of the extra step of rotating for the different channels.

Thanks,
Steven

Hi, and welcome to HDTVoice!

Both antenna's have the same advertised range and they are both omni's. I don't know that you would be gaining a lot.

Are you having 'multipath' problems with the Terk? Picture quality (PQ) just not really good on some HD stations?

Too bad a directional is not an option. I don't feel that switching to the other omni will do much for you. Seems a little spendy too. If its something you can try and return for a refund, you could try it.
