I could be wrong Mr. Driploop, but you stated in the description that the receiver is capable of:
CATV Channels 1-125(not analog)
Did you mean... (not digital) ???

Yes you are wrong,,,, my impersonator of a one dimensional 70's tv star, friend.
Glommed the info from the Pioneer websight.
Great working box..

Get out!!!
Do you mean that this receiver (other than OTA ATSC) will only decode "digital" cable? Like the digital cable that's usually only carried on cable channels higher than ~100??
If so... I guess it is truly OTA Only!

It will receive HD cable providing it comes in 8vsb. Which I understand is probally not used anywhere now.

Kevinw, Have you considered selling it on HTF? You might get a good response. Good luck :)

Well the tuners back on the market. Person who bought it had no idea about HD and returned it.
I have used it for 2 years and it performs beautifully.

Kev - obsolete from your 811? I have a t-151 that I'm about to do the same thing to :)

Yep, replaced it with the 811, It seems that OTA only is going the way of analog TV's. Cable and satelite programming is almost a must now.
