I have a Sony 40" XBR tube. One of the best pictures I have seen when it is working, but I just put in for my second warrenty service call on it since I baught it last December, and it wieghs 300 lbs, they all groan when I ask them to work on it. I don't know if it was avery good choice now,

PS: By the way the TV shop called today, they are ordering me a new board for my TV from Sony, then they are coming to haul it away for awhile when the board gets here. I think that will make everyboard inside the thing changed in the last year.
I guess all brands have their troubles. Knock on wood.
