I hope the sales guy didn't bsteer me abd on this what do you all think? The viz is top notch on the HD stuff and some first cut DVD's i've tried. I got one of those samysungs DVD that twist it up to 720/1080. I just asked on a dif thread how to post to the galleria when I do you can eyeball my crib:smokin:

Uh, right. The 'don't buy' are normally posted by the folks who have had problems with a particular piece and have had to deal with poor service after that. All brands/models fail. As long as you like what you have, there is no problem. Most things that fail do so after a short time. If you have a major brand like Panasonic, warranty service if needed shouldn't be a problem. If it fails SOON, then talk to the dealer about getting another unit.
None of us like to have our equipment fail

I got the hook up cause i buy lots of other jingle quips so the dude told me it was good stuff. He said that I was the only one that he sold one to I bought it blind waited a sleepy month before the air ride dropped it off with some hercs to bring it in. I havn't had any glitches so I'll keep the Karma bank full and hope she'll ride on with no cuff.
Thanks Brother Lee this place Rocks I got lots of queeries I'll have to crank the search motor first so I don't dilly ya all with lamers.

Book Description
The bumpin’ book for hip-hop disciples (a.k.a. fiends), songwriters, all other writers, pop culture fans, linguists, and parents who are just trying to figure out what their kids are saying.
The inventive sounds of hip-hop (which became America’s number two music genre in 2001, outselling country) have echoed far from their Bronx beginnings of twenty years ago. Making its way from Compton sidewalks to suburban malls, garnering commentary from The Wall Street Journal alongside Vibe, hip-hop by definition delivers its messages in the most creative language possible. Celebrating hip-hop’s boon to the realm of self-expression, Hip Hoptionary™ translates dozens of phrases like “marinating in the rizzi with your road dawg” (relaxing in your car with your friend), including:
• Big bodies: SUVs or luxury vehicles
• Government handle: registered birth name
• 411: the latest scoop or information
• Bling-bling: diamonds, big money, flash and cash
• Brick City: Newark, New Jersey
• 1812: war, fight (as in War of 1812)
In addition to the lexicon of idioms and beeper codes, Hip Hoptionary™ also features lists of hip-hop fashion labels, books, mixed drinks, and brief bios of America’s famous rappers, making this the ultimate guide for a Double H (hip-hop) nation.

Yah know....
I have heard the talk........But now to read it.....
It's even better to see it in type... Guess one could consider it
multi-tasking in an odd way...:afro:
M&M,
I take your questions seriously, but need a translation on this:
Yo whats the stamer bro? We ll aint that baby you know.
Like Mike says, you'll find we are a pretty tight group and do enjoy a little fun now and then. Everyone who has responded to you is a warehouse of information. In some cases the warehouse is a little bigger. :)
Hip Hop is something I am totally ignorant on, although I can catch the meaning of most things :)
I'm guessing that Hip Hop is something you do or don't do at your convienence and you are translating as you type?
Judging from the equipment in your photos you are technically saavy and will pick up HDTV quickly.
I sure hope you are reading this without the difficulty I'm having with the hip hop :D
You've got questions, ask away. Looks like you are set in the TV department. I was curious about your other equipment, besides the A/V stuff.
Thanks,
Lee
(Thanks Kev :) literal translation does not work "Bling bling was bang...." translates to "Jewelry was dead" who makes these dictionaries, an old guy like me :D)
Lee sorry bro for not beein clear. The slang I use in not in a dictonary its different everywhere you go. Each city burough and even neighbourhood has it's own lingo. When I get reved up I forget that sometimes. I will try to keep that down in my posts but hey this place is so cool. I have to run to a rehersal right now. I will tell you all about my gear the details will be legnthy.
I am also a boater I have a 40' Crusier I see you may like the water to.

BACK AT YA,
I did like the guitar collection.. Great home studio....
Poke away brother no worries I drive a Big Moded 3/4 ton 4x4 that any peckerwood from Peaches would drool on.
It was 'peckerwood'. And I didn't need a dictionary for the translation :rofl2: Big difference between peckerwood and perckerhead. Calls to mind some Jeff Foxworthy jokes, but I'll refrain :)
I am also a boater I have a 40' Crusier I see you may like the water to.
21' Centurion v-drive wakeboard boat. I drive, kids and grandkids board etc. Only trouble is that our season is a tad short. June through October (maybe).
I will try to keep that down in my posts but hey this place is so cool.
Thank you! :)

Did you get a satisfactory answer to your Panasonic question?
Lee
Yeah I trusted the dude who sold me it just that it cost big$$ and if it was a lemon then I would be paying him a strong visit. I did a search and know one has much to speak on these. I found good stories on the web about it but wanted to know if any real life peeps had one besides me. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. My Karmas good so It should be OK:D
I have learned alot of other stuff thats real cool:smokin: I be talkin to my peeps like I'm a pro:cool:
