I have a new Hughes HDTV Sattelite receiver which has 3 RCA component video outputs. My TV, a Mitsubishi rear projection, has RGBHV inputs for the HD signal.
HELP! What do I do?

Check your owners manual and see if there is a switch to accept comp. connections. Connect to the same inputs that you would a PS dvd player. I think Hughes makes Mits. Boxes so it should be compatible. Call the dealer and ask him.

You can change the DTV input from RGB to YPrPb in the user menu.

Interesting - I have a Mitsubishi HDTV and Warner Cable HD cable box with only RGB out. I called Mitsubishi tech support and they told me the only way it would work was with a cable box with RGBHV out. I went through the setup on the TV and didn't see anything that would allow me to change my input settings.

This happened to me today. The Dish Network installer hooked-up my new 811 HD box and couldn't get the HD picture tweeked. I finally changed the setting from RGB to YPrPb on my 53" Sony, and the picture came in perfectly.
