i just got my hdtv box from time warner cable but i can't watch any programming due to the a/v synchronization problem that i am experiencing (it's too annoying to watch for more than about 30 seconds). does anyone know how to fix this problem??

I don't know of anything specific, but if it's on every channel definitely call TWC and let them know about it. If it is only specific channels, you'll probably still have to call TWC unless it's a local channel they are rebroadcasting, in which case it might be the local broadcaster with the syching problem. It's not an uncommon phenomenon on some HD channels with certain providers.
I know that CBS, on their national feed, used to have occasional problems like that but I haven't seen any in quite some time now.
