On hd channels how is comcast picture quality versus direct tv? I have comcast now and live in the woods so I cannot get direct tv (antenna blockage from trees).
There should be no noticeable difference, however, some people say OTA is the best. Comcast passes the full 19.4 Mb/sec OTA signal, but since it's gone through one more step, I suppose it could be "worse" than OTA. Sat does a little further compression because they don't have the bandwidth, so I'd guess sat would be the "worst" although the bandwidth only matters when you have a lot of movement...

:lurk: In Northern Va Directv is way ahead of comcast as far as PQ.My brother has Comcast and he and I both see a noticable difference in the PQ
