Lamp Question

Do any of the projectors use the same Lamp as the Panasonic PT40LC12 LCD projection TV? And, what is a good source for these lamps?

I have a hunch that they all use the same or similar bulb and if that is so then replacements shoud be easy to find.

A search for projector lamps turns up quite a few companies selling them.

The lamp in my projector is an 'assembly' including the fan. I've only found them from the manufacturer so far.

Toshiba TDP-MT8U (InFocus 7200).

I'm sure they will all have some propriatary connector or such.

You might try calling up stores that used to carry that unit. I believe Sears was one, for example. Many retail locations offer the service to locate and order parts for products they used to sell (for a fee, of course!)
