KV32HS510 Picture Quality

Hello:

I just bought the 32" Sony HDTV; but unfortunately I don't have a HD receiver at this time (need to talk to Directv to upgrade my receiver). However, I am not happy with the picture quality...looks grainy and reddish. I tried changing the display settings, but it is not any better. Anyone here has any suggestion on how to improve the regular TV picture on this Sony?
