i just got my time warner hd box. we do not get cbs or abc in our hd programming. i want these two channels for the ota primetime programming. is there any way that i can recieve these without buying an additional set top box? my box only has a cable in outlet, and many additional cable out connections. there is no additional antenna in input. am i screwed until they release this programming? is there any splitter to use so that the antenna can be used and decoded through the box? sorry if this is a stupid question but i searched and couldnt find a direct answer.
edit: its a pioneer explorer unit.

I'm assuming your from Dayton, OH considering your name... I'm from there too and just got my box this week as well... From all the research i've done this week and the phone calls i've made to the affiliates and to TWC, I'm thinking we are screwed and will need to buy a box to get CBS and ABC... I'm very hesitant to do that though, cause as soon as they start providing those services it's like you just wasted 300 bucks...

that sucks. at least im not locked into a contract. i havnt cancelled my dish yet so maybe ill just go that route. i really want cbs for the football and primetime programs. what pisses me off is that they told me over the phone that an antenna would work with there system. i know i might be nieve sp? for thinking the sales people would know but you would thing that tw would emply knowledgeable associates. oh well. thanks.
