KV34HS510 horizontal lines

I have a KV34HS510 and when the picture is dark or when its black ( like when on an input with no signal) a series of horizontal lines appear on the screen. They appear at all times and on all inputs. They are about half inch apart and extend across the screen from about half inch from the edges of the screen and bow in at the center of the screen. Does anyone else have or has had this problem?? Any help would be appreciated, becaus other than this the tv is wonderful.

Only moving verticles have been noticed on HDTV tuners. Sony quality is falling fast!

I have 4 Sony TV's in my house and they all still work perfect,

one 48'' CRT Big Screen
two 32'' trinatron's
one 60'' Grand Wega III

The only T.V I have ever had to get repaired is my 27'' JVC!!!

I love Sony and would not buy anything else.

I have the same set, but no horizontal lines, only the moving vertical on HD input, which should be repaired (fingers crossed) this week sometime.

I also have the same 34" Sony tv. I have a red/pink scan line that moves across my screen. As I mentioned on my other posts, it only occurs while watching cable...not on DVD or DirecTV...hmmmmmmmmmmmm!
