cleaning protective screen?

Ok this may seem like basic knowledge, but I don't know the answer. What is the best product or method to clean a protective screen? My kids have finger prints all over it and for the superbowl I really don't want to have to look at them. It will most likely be my first sporting event in HD and I need everything perfect before I flaunt my toy infront of the inlaws.

Use a warm, damp, soft cloth. The operating manuals usually recommend the same thing. Do not use any chemicals. If you want, you can buy special screen cleaner for $20, but why waste the money.

Don't make the cloth too wet because you don't want water in the electronics.
