I am thinking about buying this TV, but am very worried about the blurring during sporting events. I watched the TV at several stores, with some blurring and some looking perfect. The sales people told me that it will depend on my signal strength at my house. I have Direct TV Satelite. Is anyone having this problem?
I have this T.V and I love it!
I watch Football in HD because it looks so good it's truly amazing, I don't even like Football. Sports on my T.V dont have any blurring they look great.
as long as they are in HD they will blow you away I promise, but if you are planning on watching alot of Standard Def on this T.V Think again, it doesn't look that great at all. I would get the extended warranty on this set, there have been people who have had some problems with the lamp issues but I have had mine for months and it works like a dream. You will not be dissapointed with this T.V I promise!!!

I got mine in time for the last ESPN Sunday night football. You won't want to watch SD football ever again.
I watch a lot of Hockey also. There is some blurring with quick camera shifts down the field or ice, but when comparing to the SD signal, I just think you notice any tiny focusing changes with the HD cameras.
Not to mention, this is still an early medium for the broadcasters. As Ad and other revenue rises, they'll dump more money into the technology to improve the viewing experience.

The salesman had quite an imagination. If by blurring you mean items in motion not looking in focus, than I have not noticed this problem with my 50inch Grand Wega. If you mean blooming of whites when a scene gets bright, then this can be reduced by setting up the picture controls properly.
Nontheless, the Grand Wega LCD RPTVs are great, especially for the money.
