View Full Version : Vertical 'shadow' - right edge of screen
Love the new Sony LCD and now that I've had it for a few months, I am planning on getting and ISF tech to come fine tune it.
Question is, I've noticed in 4:3 viewing there is a faint brownish 'shadow' at the right edge (vertical). Does this sound like something that would be cleared-up with a little tweaking? The shadow not noticeable on 16:9 and overall the pic quality is incredible.
Any ideas? Thx, Tom :D
Almost sounds like a shadow of some kind. I wonder if a bug, like a spider, may be "in the works" somewhere... It would not be the first time... Weird that it only shows up 4:3, but anyway, something to consider.
57:
I been noticing a shadow effect when I hit my 9 favorites list on my Hughes Direct TV box - looks like I've had one too many brewskies trying to read it - reminds me of an antennae that needs to be turned slightly to get back to being crisp
Could it have something to do with wiring or interference of some sort?
I found that I have a ghosting effect on all inputs - even on HDTV, the picture is crisp but there is a yellowish shadow that is visible. On all lettering of anytype that is on various menus, etc., there is a yellowish shadow present. More noticeable on regular 4:3 viewing because the right edge of the screen has that yellowish shadow.
Any ideas 57U?
Sorry, no further ideas, perhaps someone else can jump in...
