Great site! I purchased the Mitsubishi 70 inch HDTV (VS70803) 3 years ago and have a 5 pin BNC input to the HDTV port. I don't have the traditional component (there is one for DVD but it doesn't feed into the HD port). I found a BNC to VGA converter and was planning on going the route of a Home Theater Computer, but would rather find a real solution to my problem! Do I need some kind of video scaler to use a component feed? Can I just not use the Vertical and Horizontal ins? If anyone has any ideas for me, I'd realy appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

PS-Sorry for the double post- I didn't realize there were model specific forums.

Press Menu-1-3-7-0 on your Mits. remote

Use the up and down arrow keys to select DTV INPUT. The default section should be AUTO.

Press ENTER until the default selection switches to HD.

Press MENU twice to exit the service menu.

DONT mess with any of the oter selections!!!

Now you should be able to use the INPUT button on you remote to cycle through the inputs; there is now a new input immediately following ANT-B; this is the HD input.

If you are connected to the STB like a DCT-100, press theHD MONITOR button on the DCT-100 and you should be in business.

This one had me for a while.

Way to go MITSUBISHI !!!!

Thanks for the reply. I should have been more specific in referring to the video inputs in the back of the TV (not the input settings). I continue to be baffled by the 5 pin BNC setup. If anyone knows if I can even try feeding the 5 pin a component video feed and not hook up the vertical and horizontal wires, let me know. Thanks,
Scot
