Reception Concern

I have ordered a Sony 34" XBR (16:9) set (KV34XBR910). The store did not have one in stock so I was unable to view. My question is: Is the picture quality of the analog signal poor. I have been reading user reviews and there are several that eluded to the unacceptable "normal" signal but raved about the "HD" signal. Since most of the viewing will be analog, I am somewhat concerned. I use Comcast Cable and they only offer 6 channels in HD and all broadcasts are not in HD - only a select few. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I have a KV34HS510. When first hooked up to Comcast, analog channels were not too great. I kept calling Comcast, and after a few different tech visits, this one tech said, "gee your picture sould be better than this". he spent a lot of time in my basement and replaced 3 splitters with 2. He checked other connections etc. Picture now is great.
Bottom line...make sure you have a good signal from pole to box (good wiring, splitters, connections etc).
