I put up acn 3671antenna, rotor and cm7777 preamp last week. I am only recieving signal from the UHF side of antenna. I was trying to get one ofour digital stations that broadcasts on VHF and can't get it. Only 20 miles from tower. Decided to hook up antenna staight to tv to see what I get analog. UHF is great. I get NYC and LI which are about 80 miles from me. I can't even get analog VHF channels that are 20 miles from me. When I use to use antenna years ago I always got great reception on VHF or UHF. I used to watch NYC channels more than the CT ones. I only get channel 8 now which you could get with a coat hanger from here, so that isn't a good test. If I could get NYC analog to work and I still couldn't get CT digital channel then I would say maybe it is my location. I think it is the antenna. How does the VHF signal get connected to the front of the antenna where UHF side is and the cable conects. Checked settings on preamp.

Take the pre amp out and then try it. You may be overdriving the signal.

Double check the pre-amp settings...

Use this as a guidline:

Take note to:
Models 7777 and 7778 may be configured for either a single UHF/VHF input or separate UHF and VHF inputs. It is factory set to "single UHF/VHF input".

Make sure the preamp has power and that you have the cables in the proper gazzinta/gazoutta terminal.

And... as stated earlier, try without the preamp.
