I bought a sony 40XBR700 last month and noticed on cable and satellite it looks blurry . Any recommendations for correcting this? I understand the 40XBR800 will have these new features
1) Digital Visual Interface (DVI-HDTV) connection that enables copy-protected, high-definition video content to be delivered from a DVI/HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) compatible set-top box. This is the primary reason for me trading in my 40XBR700.
2) DRC MultiFunction V1 circuitry, which gives us control over the level of DRC picture enhancement depending on the quality of the input signal to give better quality images, hopefully no matter what the video source. THis is my secondary reason.
3) HD Detailer wideband video amp, which reproduces finer image details when using high definition sources such as an HD set top box.
4) ClearEdge VM wide band velocity modulation scanning, which is now twice the bandwidth capacity of the XBR700. It enhances not only conventional bandwidth, but higher frequency sources like DVD players and satellite receivers to "take full advantage of 1080i chassis for exceptional clarity and depth."
5) Memory Stick media slot for viewing JPEG images converted to dynamic 1080i high-definition quality. With choice of full screen, index, or slide show, from pictures taken with your memory stick equipped digital camera/corder. So is there any recommendations for correcting my 40XBR700 using basically the same features in the 40XBR800. Should I trade it in for the 40XBR800 any thoughts. Can you trade it I had it a month.
