I just picked up my 50' GRAND WEGA LCD on Friday 3/19.... Its ausome as I expected..
Just want to tell my horror story from ULTIMATE ELECTRONICS in Misqueite Texas..
I baught the TV are the 5 or 6th or Feb., the Sales guys said I will have me TV on 2/25 ready to pick up... No phone calls or anything & it was about 2/20, called my sales guy, he says OH they wont be here untill the 3/15... NO phone calls, I called on 3/14, sales guy is never there, but the guy I talked to said that those TV's will not be in untill 18th or 20th..!!! so im gettn a little ansy & irritated by now.. I call again on 3/16 or the 17th & another sales guy answers i asked for an ETA & he said that the TV's that are comming on the 18th are REFURBISHED!!! & mine wont be here untill the 30th!!! WTF.... So Im really pissed but didnt not bitch any one out yet.. I get a call from my sales guy the next night at 8:00pm, they close at 9:00pm.... He said My TV is here ready to pick up!!! I was like hell yeah.. So I said Ill be there in 15 mins.... I show up, he's not there... Ok, I go to the front desk & said Im picking up my TV ect... They check the system, there is one here:-) GREAT right ?!?! NOT!!!!!! This one here is not yours!?!?!? Im PISSED NOW!!!! I was like WTF, Uche, the sales guy just called me 20 mins ago!!! well hes not here.... this TV is not for you, for someone else... its about 8:45 by now, they close at 9:00... He said my TV will be in tommorow, (it was the next day).... I was like you close in 15... that guy is not here, im am, let me have the tv!!! LOGICAL RIGHT.... Nope, we cant do that , it creates drama... WTF do you think this is!?!?! Anyways I argued with them for 30-45mins... & they didnt give a ****.... I had them fully refund my account!!! & THEY DIDNT CARE.. They acted like loosing my business was no biggy.. no offers of anything to make up for thier BS......

Anyways I called the next day, its there, I go to pick it up, pay back the money... & we get outside.... The 15 year old kid that supposed to load up everything said "i dont know how to tie up stuff" Heres the box of twine!!!! so I HAD TO TIE UP MY OWN TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
Neadless to say, I will NEVER give my money to
ULTIMATE ELECTRONICS............
THE F'ing suck!!!

Sounds horrible, I would have waited another month if I had to just to get it fromanother store that would appreciate my business. The Grand Wega's are instock everywhere in Canada so I would have had no trouble saying "see ya later" to them and spending my money else where. Makes you wonder, if they didn't care about you when you baught the TV what makes you think they will care about you if the TV breaks down and you need them to have it repaired for you.

Anyways hope you love the TV as much as I love mine. It is the best purchase I think I have ever made.

Yeah, I love it!! Dont have HD yet but, I got good component cables & watched MATRIX I on my progress scan DVD... IT was CRYSTAL CLEAR!!! & the Suround sound is ausome, verry loud & full!!

I bought mine from a local chain. And all I can say is good things about them. They beat Circuit City local price. I got mine delivered the day and 4hr time slot I choose. The first time I went they didn't have any in stock (Jan around Super Bowl time) but I left my number and the sales rep called me back in a week and they had mine reserved. Feb 04' built date and working beautifully till date. HD is amazing. Sorry to hear of your terrible experience but hopefully you can console yourself with the TV. :D

Love the Tv, just not the D'heads that sold it to me..... Arogent Bastards...
There is no excuse for thier BS, the sales staff there are tottal useless, when I was stadning their argueing after the called me to pick up the TV that was not mine,

1 sales guy told me it will be here tomorrow, the manager eventually came & started talking to me & said the same thing, then later in the argument he said it will be here in 2 days..... They dont have thier **** together at all......... had about 6 diff ETA's, & two that changed right in front of my face within 5 mins....

DO NOT EVER BUY FROM ULTIMATE E. IN MISQUEITE!!!!

Best TV I have ever owned.

If your in love with the DVD, I can't wait to hear what you think about HD. Your P-scan DVD is only 480p, HD is 720p/1080i.

Just to let you know, I got great service and a good price from UE here in Phoenix, so it's that store and not necessarily the whole chain.

Glad you like the set, you WILL love HD. My daughter has a 60" and I'll get to see it for the first time in a couple of weeks when we go to North Carolina for a visit.

Its' great that you like your TV, but why did you end up giving them your money anyway? Even after the first two times, I woulda been so pissed off that not only would I have gotten my money refunded, but I would have wrote a letter to the BBB!! There is no shortage of retailers and if you had someone else to buy from you probably should have just went there. Even if the next closest place was double/triple/quadruple the distance from that Ultimate Electronics, I still would have gone there. That's just not good business...I've heard of better customer service at Burger King....they should definitley not be treating anyone like that, ESPECIALLY if you're buying such a big ticket item! It makes my blood boil to just hear that....sorry about that
