Anyone going to jump on the new Hughes Directv HD Tivo? I am told it ships March 31st. The only drawback I see is no firewire. However, since I just bought a DLP for the bedroom, I will be buying it as soon as it hits the shelf.

Orbitsat told me that it'll probably be sometime the first half of April... Could be the 1st, could be later, but it'll ship out the day they get them in.

Email I received today:
We understand that you have an order pending for the HDTV TiVo receiver and wanted to give you an update on estimated date of arrivale. We got word from Hughes the manufacturer of this unit that the product is at DIRECTV for testing and compliance. They estimate the completion and delivery of this unit to start the first week of May.
