was in cc checking out sammmy 43" dlp and a 50" hitachi lcd really caught my eye too, it look as good as the dlp but would it be as reliable,any comments

I have sammmy 43" dlp and i really like it. I've never checked out the 50" hitachi lcd, but I think a dlp would probably last longer than an LCD. an lcd is also gonna cost a lot more as well.

Totally incorrect information. The LCD and DLP both produce very nice pictures. People can debate which is best, but it is up to you to look at both and decide for yourself. I think the LDC looks just a little bit better. The DLP does not last any longer. The price is usually less for an LCD.
Hitachi, Sony and Panasonic all three make very good LCD RPTV sets and CC sells all three starting at $2,699 for the 50" Panasonic.
