I plan on running cable from the Dish to the main house for use in the bedroom and playroom. (Which unfortunately are two separate rooms:D )

Currently I only have one tuner attached to the 3-LNB Dish.

At this time, neither set in the main house will be HD.

My question is burying cable. Are their suggested depths, max run lengths, specific grades of cable for burying, etc.

I plan on finding a dual RG-6 spool, hopefully at the local Radio Shack.

Thanks for any input,

When Comcast buried the cable to the house I was very surprised how shallow it was.

Just make the run where you most likely won't be digging. ie, not under a flower bed :)

Just make sure its an outdoor cable.

How long is the run going to be?

There are threads with the info you need, just have to find them. I hate searches :)
