If anyone here cares...
Radio Shack's VU-190XR antenna is on sale for $79.99 (instead of $99.99).
I'm assuming that the flyer I got in the mail applies to all Radio Shacks. Your mileage may vary...
160" (13'-4") boom length. Why isn't it called 160XR?:confused:

A less refined gentleman than myself might make inapropriate remarks about them overstating their length... (heh...heh...)
Do you use guy wires for your mast? When I put this monster up, I'm a little concerned about it catching air. I doubt that it could uproot the tripod (it's bolted down really well), but it can't help the signal for the antenna to be bouncing around. On the other hand, I don't like putting additional holes in my roof.
