To those of you who have problems with staying logged onto the site, please run click on the url below and run the script. Make sure to choose to delete all your cookies in the checkboxes and hit submit. Then close your browser, log back in and then try closing your browser while you are logged in and reopen a new one to see if you are still logged in. Hopefully this will fix some of the errors people are having. I would recommend everyone run this even if you are having no problems.

Click here to run the cookie fix script (http://www.hdtvoice.com/voice/mycookies.php)

This is the info from Vbulletin Developers..

"In wake of more threads from people saying they can't login / stay logged in i've made this script.

Upload this script to your main forum and send the users who are having problems to it. This should allow them to remove their cookies. It doesn't just attempt to move them via one method but two.

It attempts to remove them via JavaScript and PHP."

Here is the developers thread...

Click Here for more info (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=91523&page=1&pp=15)

Let me know the results you guys get.

Thanks,

Tom

:mic:

that link you mentioned above to delete your cookies didn't work - it would delete SOME of them, but not all...........gave up, requested my password, then got a new one..........

good luck fixing the glitches!

noticed also if you do like I did (after not getting rid of the cookies after NUMEROUS  tries) and request your password, get a new one, then log back on using it, that you can't change your password to what you want - have to use the new one you are assigned.........

just another glitch for Joe to work on :mecry:

I think is has something to do with the little green squares next to your post count.

Go check your user control panel, look at the bottom of the page. Now go to one of your posts and click on the symbol again.

That's all I know :)
Lee

Then click on the symbol on someone elses post

whatever that thing is down there on the lower left corner of a user's post - what is that ?Press it. It allows you to 'approve' or 'disapprove' of a User's post and provide comments as to why you feel the way you do. I guess that will make it easier for folks to see that I'm just a big shmuck and add me to the Ignore list. :)

Tom,

If you checked your CP, note that I approved of your post so the system added reputation points. You also noted that it tells you who did it and if there were commernts added.
