I was thinking of a "New" aspect ratio for a 4:3 picture on a WS.
A "twist on the "Fill" function.
When you FILL, the picture is cut off at the top & bottom. What if when you "Fill", it fills the picture but ALSO moves the picture down. That way just the bottom gets cut off. With my TV I can do it manualy. After I set to FILL, it has a setting to move the V position. Meaning: move the whole picture up or down. So I set it to the lowest (through the Menu system)setting and it looks good.
Be nice if it had an aspect setting (one click button) to do that... call it the "FILL MOVE" aspect. :rolleyes:
Not too sure how good it would work on sports but, looks ok on comedies & Drama's.
Maybe some TV's already have it?
