How can we fix this problem?
You spend thousands of dollars to watch your teams in HD. NHL playoffs roll around and your beloved Red Wings are on ESPNHD...only its blacked out in Detroit (even though they are away games) in order to force you to watch it on Fox Sports Detroit (and their low quality feed even by SD standards). So in this example, no one in Detroit can watch the Wings in HD due to blackout rules.
I've experienced this or similar problems with NBA and NFL as well. How can we fix this problem? Watching sports in HD is a major reason many of us spend thousands of dollars on the equipment. Its also not going to help bring more people into the HD fold when they learn about these blackouts.
