Has anyone used Cobalt speaker cables and would you recommend them over some of the more popular and higher priced cables. Thank You

I usually recommend 12 or 10 gauge two-conductor electrical wire for runs of less than 50' - it can be purchased at a hardware store for about $25 for 100'. Properly secured at both ends.

For those who feel that higher priced wire makes for better sound, please proceed to purchase it, especially if you've invested say $5-10k or more in an audio system.

10-12 for runs less than 50 feet.. heck.. what would you run for more than 50'??

Why such a heavy gauge. say versus 16 guage which is more commonly found?

At low impedences, which some speakers have at some frequencies, better to be "safe". Doesn't really cost that much more. See the attached table.

Sorry, didn't mean to highjack the thread. Hope someone gets back to you about the Cobalt Cables.
