In Canada, first we had MuchMusic - similar to MTV - went the route of MTV. They brought out MuchMoreMusic - better, catered more towards videos and people over 14, but it too went downhill.
Now we have MuchMoreRetro - great channel - nothing but videos, not even any commercials. Mostly videos from the 80's so the quality can suffer if they were shot poorly, but at least the music's good most of the time and no commercials and no "reality". |
Much music was good when it came out, played alot of music videos, now they changed it to fuse or something in the states, and it sucks, its like watching trl with high school freshmen. And they play crappy bands, but i prefer mtv 2 and vh1, over any other music channel.
just my 2 cents |
VH1Classic gets most of my attention. Pretty much all videos from the 60's through the 90's with some classic concerts thrown in. (The old TV concert featuring Ray Charles was GREAT! I didn't see the whole thing so I'm not sure if they mentioned it's original airing but it appeared to be 1965-1970. Lousy production but it was still VERY cool.)
It's just sad that the "music" channels aren't music any more. MTV, VH1, even CMT are just "culture" channels these days. |
You want VHI HD ?
You'll also get it soon, announcement coming Mid Year also  :hyper: |
