If I were to hook up a Sima switcher (4 seperate inputs on the Sima), to my S-Video input on my Tivo series 2 DVR.....would I be able to record from the selected device on my Sima.

For example, I have the following running into my Sima:

Video 1 - Cablebox
Video 2 - VCR
Video 3 - DVD

I then have the Sima output running into my Tivo. If I select Sima Video1 would Tivo record from the Cablebox, if I select Sima Video2 would Tivo record from the VCR, Sima Video3 and Tivo would record from DVD?

I've got a bunch of Home Movies on VHS & DVD that I would like to get onto Tivo (and later onto my PC).
