Is this stupity on the part of DirecTV or what? Go cable...I hope they bury DirecTV...This is the most idiotic company I have ever dealt with.

Very little in this article is accurate.
DIRECTV has delivered 5,600 HR10-250's to date and with less than 30 units replaced. The unit is in much higher demand than the supply can catch up with, but starting next week allocations will be larger and more frequent.

At least your Tivo will have great interactive features, no messed-up screen setups by a cable company, excellent user displays and clearer locals!
Remember satellite does not delivery those crummy analogue pictures like my cable company delivers with its so-called HD DVR, either. Friends of mine truly love their HD-Tivos to the point they expanded "hacked" theirs with more HD space...but that is another story. Either way, your money will be well-spent, LeeS! Good luck with your installation and enjoy!
