I am looking for a Direct Tv HDTV receiver with a DVI out. I would prefer a sony hd-200 or 300.

Ihave a lot of computer equiptment/PS2 (modified and unmodified) for trade.

there's a hughes htl hd receiver from which i've read is the same exact receiver as the sony hd-300 but the hughes is cheaper. (made by one company and marketed by i think 3. sony, hughtes, and i can't remember the third). here's a link:

i have found nothing but problems with every HDTV receiver I find. What do I do

well, i prefer to curl up in the fetal position and cry. doesn't help my reception, but it is soothing.
when you say you have problems, what are the specifics of your problems?

i need a hdtv direct tv receiver with DVI output. I want to get rid of my PS2 and my current DTC-100 receiver. Mostly becasue my wife would sh!t if i get another receiver. I am looking for a good on with minimal problems (audio drop out, slow guide etc). I like the sony hd-200 for price/features but not sure what to do. My DTC-100 has little of these problems and the audio drop out is the only problem i have with it
