DVI/HDCP Question

IF my current HD ready TV is not equipped with DVI/HDCP inputs is there any sense in buying a HD STB with DVI/HDCP outputs?

If the STB also has component outputs and your HD set has component inputs then you will be able to get HD signal into the set that way. Some programming may only be available at high resoultion through the DVI path but not all of it will be restricted in this way.
