JVC AV48P575: ANY reviews yet?
JVC AV-48P575: Any reviews on this yet?
I saw this @ the brick here in canada. They have one of their " don't pay until 2006 " events on right now. Its $2149 ..... they also have last years model, the AV48WP55 for $1859
whats the diff? What does the AV48P575 have that the AV48WP55 does not have? IS the AV48P575 worth the extra $290??????? |

I can only find info on the 575:
http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?prod...08200&pathId=79 Maybe someone else can find the 55? Web searches didn't come up with much on either set. Lee |

This is an excellent model with a beautiful picture. I just purchased on a couple of days ago and am extemely impressed with the picture and quality of the set overall. The price tag on it is much cheaper now so if you get a good price 1049-1200 i suggest picking it up. Best of luck, but above all else, seriously consider what you want to use the set for before you buy it. If you are wanting to play video games and run your computer through it, you might want to consider LCD or plasma which run no risk of set burn-in. I hope this helps, have a good day.

You are half right. LCD does not burn in. Plasma can burn in. Perhaps you were thinking about DLP but I believe you were referring to flat panels. As Super Ninja stated (BTW welcome) if your planning to run your computer through the set and/or play lots a video games you should consider LCD flat panel/RPTV or DLP RPTV. Happy Holidays.
