network quality vs HDNet and PBS
Is it just me or does it seem like HDNet and programs like PBS come through with much better detail? I watched some of the Network shows last night in HD but they were not quite the same as the other stations quality. Just wondering????

It's not your imagination. Some shows like Leno, live sporting events and some of the PBS programmes are better. If the show is not "live" and it still looks better, it is because it has been recorded using a better recording medium and better equipment.
It's not necessarily the network signal. Look at the CBS "Its All Here" HD commercial and you'll see what I mean. This just "jumps" out at you, but I think they may have "enhanced" it, since it looks "brighter". This post should probably not have been put in the DVI forum - AdminJoe, perhaps you can throw it over into HDTV.
