Any Buydig or PC Mall experiences

Any feedback on Buydig or PC Mall - I'm debating if it is worth saving $500 buying from an "unknown" (for me) with decent overall feedback, or sticking with a known online seller (Amazon- I've had *great* experiences for products <$1K).

Thanks

Also - when using online resellers, I presume I (and they) only care about getting the TV to me. All repair/warranty I deal directly with the manufacturer, correct?

Regards-

Used them both.

I have used both and had no problems. I purchased my Sammy hlp5663w from onecall, and they were great! Sammy direct for repairs at least the 1st year. I am not sure about my extended, I hope I never need to find out.

Hope this helps.

how do you create a post?

I cant see anything on the menus as to how you create a post, or question, so I added this on to a recent one.
Let me know, I have a few questions:
1. My Denon remote just bit the biscuit( shame its only 3 yrs old now), and I need to replace. I have been searching this site, and found a couple of units mentioned. A Sony 3000, and also something about a Phillips Pronto. There is the Denon Atkins remote also avail. To order an original remote for my receiver is crazy expensive, and a real pain to program. I would like to ensure full functionality with my denon 3802.
2. I was reading about the Bandwidth of HD signals. I reviewed my Denon manual, but couldnt find specs to see if I was actually losing HD signal through my compontent video outs( component video switching). Anyone??
3. Subwoofer( JBL) intermitent heavy distortion. Very wierd. Sometimes it (even with receiver off), it makes a very heavy distortion noise( not a rumbling, but more like a deep buzzing). There are no motors near by( the furnace is off). Do I need a line conditioner?. I have a eerie feeling that my tv, and all the receiver equipment( incl subs) are on the same breaker along with a ceiling fan in the room. Again even with everything off, it would still do it. Now it only happens perhaps once per week( when Im around) so its not constant, and only does it for approx 5 seconds. Anyone??
4. Very Light black/grey lines in my video picture on my TV. Seems to only happen with DVD( component video). I tried switching back n forth between interlaces/progressive scan. Check all connections seem fine as well. I am running RG59 coax from the receiver out to the TV for component video, but I would have the same problem with the HD DBS pictures, but dont see it. You only see the lines when there is a darker picture on the screen.

Lastly I am very pleased with this site so far. Looks like lots of HD enthusiasts here. Nice to see. So many people dont care. Man but once you see it, you'll never want to go back!! I live for this stuff( wife cant understand my passion)

Lets see equipment list
Hitachi 53udx10b,Denon 3802, Toshiba sd 3800, HD STA, Mirage/mission/JBL combo speakers. Full 6.1( yes rear+side surrounds) set up with 2 subs( JBL/Mirage)
Thanks
Fred
