Check out the new Sony Projector!
If it does what it says it does for the price point I think anyone who is serious about HT may have found their new best friend.

6000:1 contrast ratio is really impressive. I don't know why the CEDIA coverage on this site is not talking about the panasonic PT-AE700U. According to projector central this model was head to head contested with the sony, but cheaper.

The panasonic is getting mixed user reviews at projectorcentral.com, they have a unit in their hands they are working on a review for also. I like the fact the Panny has a 5000 hour bulb in it myself along with the other improved features.
